In this series of work, I’m investigating how the media creates anonymity to protect ones identity by pixelating recognisable faces.  So my response is to abandon recognisable form and to take this idea to develop my work with conceptual seascapes, figures and explore colour theory. 
 
The end result plays with the impact of colour relationships. Navy blue on its own is beautiful. But next to a warm grey, white or orange. The result is exciting and pleasing to the eye.
 
Off-Piste also emulates the idea of going off-script. Away from the normal path. This exploration has allowed me to see colour in my work as its own entity. Its own story.
