Harriet Hue

Harriet Hue is a contemporary artist based on the Isle of Wight, where she paints and teaches oil painting. Originally from Sussex, she holds a First-Class Degree in Fine Art and Art History (2001) and later pursued studies in digital design at Brighton College (2002).

Known for her bold use of colour and expressive brushwork, Harriet works across portraiture, still life, landscapes, and seascapes. 

Her paintings blend traditional oil techniques with modern abstraction, creating a dynamic fusion of form and emotion. By transforming personal narratives into universal themes, her art resonates deeply with viewers
