Heidi Cail in Basel, Switzerland, studied fine arts (Basel School of Arts and Crafts) then the Lausanne School of Ceramics.
Participating in the International Home Decor Fair in Paris (Maison et Objet) and numerous press articles brought the small ceramics workshop worldwide renown.
Today, a whole team is on hand to serve you and ensure the business's continued success. Heidi, despite her age, still occasionally designs new models. Of course, her most well-known creation is the Chicken Guinea Fowl.
The Guinea Fowl was born from Heidi's imagination during her time at the School. The real bird was already present in her garden. The idea of creating a captivating stylized sculpture came to her naturally at first. But the creation required long days of sketching, building, and deconstructing… to achieve the perfect shape.
