The crystalline glazing process is a thrilling journey that is both complex and costly. Each creation sits on a pedestal with a dish below to catch the mesmerizing run-off, as the kiln reaches scorching temperatures of up to 1280 C. After cooling to the perfect holding temperature for 5 to 8 hours, the magic happens, the crystals form! And fired, the delicate art of removing and smoothing each piece adds to the allure. While crystalline glaze can be a bit unpredictable with risks, the stunning results are worth it! You'll never find two pieces that are identical, making each work of art truly special!
