Phil Atrill

Phil studied at Edinburgh College of Art and obtained a BA Honours degree in Glass in 1995. In 1996 Phil commenced work at “First Glass” in London as a Hot Glass assistant but also had the opportunity to produce his own work.

 

In 2001 he received an MA Glass from the Royal College of Art and was the recipient of several scholarships, which enabled him to attend courses by leading glassmakers in Lybster, Scotland and Stanford, Maine. He has also won many competitions and been the recipient of awards, featuring in numerous publications.

 

Phil is a self employed glass artist and since graduation has exhibited and sold his work in Britain and internationally.
